The Rev. Emmanuel Sserwadda is the Interim Partnership Officer for Africa; he is assisted by Paul Ferdinand. The Partnership Office for Africa serves as the primary link between the Presiding Bishop’s staff at the Episcopal Church Center (ECC) and the provinces of the Anglican Communion in Africa twelve Anglican Provinces in Africa and the Diocese of Egypt. The office nourishes personal and institutional relationships in Africa. The Partnership Officer regularly visits the Provinces to develop and nurture companions and partnerships. The Partnership Office for Africa receive visitors from Africa and facilitate their itineration in The Episcopal Church Center; serving as a resource to the wider church by gathering and sharing information. The Partnership Office for Africa has devoted significant portions of the AGR budget to the provinces of Africa, and towards the covenant with Liberia.
