Washington National Cathedral will celebrate the state of Mississippi on May 25 at 11:15 a.m. as part of its Major State Day services.
The Eucharist will include:
Invited Mississippi religious leaders;
Invited Mississippi elected officials;
An opening procession featuring colorful banners carried by acolytes and youth from Mississippi churches and houses of worship;
Plus guests of Mississippi serving as bearers of the communion elements and gifts to the poor.
All are welcome.
